HDTV Television

Plextor announced the USB HDTV tuner, called PX-HDTV500U. It sports a USB 2.0 connection, flat antenna, ATSC and NTSC tuner.
There really isn’t anything special that we can see about their incarnation though besides maybe the software. This is a Windows-only device and most computers will do for the NTSC tuning (P3, 256 MB of ram & 32 MB graphics card) but HDTV viewers are going to need at least a P4 3.0 GHz, 512 MB of ram and a 128 MB graphics card. The tuner will cost $99.99 and arrive in April.
