
Harman Kardon has unveiled its 7.1-channel AVR 350 receiver, plus DVD 29 upscaling DVD player. The AVR 350 offers 7.1-channel audio, two HDMI 1.2a inputs, HD video signal up to 1080p, and Faroudja upscaling of standard definition signals to 720p.
On-board components include a Cirrus Logic CS49510 DSP processor, high-res 192kHz/24-bit digital audio analogue converter, comprehensive bass manager, and proprietary Harman Kardon Logic 7 processing.
The DVD 29 DVD player features HDMI, standard definition video upscaling to 720p or 1080i using pixel-by-pixel image processing, and DivX video playback.
New system will be available in October, priced at ?‚¬1,299 (in Europe).
