Optiarc* has unveiled its BC-5500A Blu-ray reader for laptops. It’s a all-round drive which provide Blu-ray playback on top of regular DVD and CD burning and playback functionality.
It’s available now, retailing for around $320.

Its amazing how fast blu-ray discs and HDTV’s are taking off. Blu-Rays discs will soon make dvds obsolete just like dvds made vhs obsolete.
