Optiarc* has unveiled its BC-5500A Blu-ray reader for laptops. It’s a all-round drive which provide Blu-ray playback on top of regular DVD and CD burning and playback functionality. It’s available now, retailing for around $320. —- *Optiarc is a joint venture between Sony and NEC.
