NEC has launched its first real full-HD plasma TV, its a 50-inch panel called PXT-50FHDP1. The PXT-50FHDP1 operates at a 1920×1080 progressive scan resolution with a 100hz refresh rate, and boasts a 30,000:1 contrast ratio.
