Sharp has announced its new Blu-ray recorder with 1TB hard drive! The $2,600 AQUOS BD-HDW20 will arrive December 1st. Sharp’s AQUOS BD-HDW20 supporting 1080/24p video and DTS-HD Master Audio, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD HRA, and HD bitstream audio. Also new Blu-ray recorder equipped with ports: IrSS, 2x Firewire, recordings to 50GB dual-layer BD-RE/-R discs.

Sharp BD-HP20S Blu-ray Player

Sharp Electronics will release their first Blu-ray player, the BD-HP20S, this fall. The player will output 1080p at 24fps (and 60fps) and supports Dolby TrueHD. Additionally, the player will come equipped with HDMI v1.3 as well as 5.1 analog outs.
